Party Cheese Balls | Appetizers |
1 cup finely chopped pecans
OR 1 cup finely chopped parsley 1/2 lb. Roqueforte cheese 2 lbs. Philadelphia cream cheese 6 oz. sharp cheddar cheese |
1 onion, finely minced
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce salt & pepper to taste green apple slices lemon juice crisp crackers |
Soften cream cheese to room temp.. Put cheddar and roqueforte cheeses through grater. Blend all ingredients well and chill until firm enough to handle. Make into two large balls. Roll balls into ground pecans or into parsley which has been spread on wax paper. Store in refrigerator until chilled, thoroughly.
Serve with apple slices and crackers.
* NOTE: one ball may be frozen for later use, however, this keeps in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
