Seafood Dip | Appetizers |
1 -14 oz. can frozen lobster meat
OR 12 oz. small shrimp ,cooked OR 12 oz. crabmeat,cooked 1/3 cup finely chopped celery 1/3 cup finely chopped green pepper 1/3 cup finely chopped scallion or onion 2 tsp. lemon juice |
1/2 tsp. dill
1 tsp. parsley flakes dash of freshly ground pepper 1 tsp. ketchup Kraft mayonnaise as req'd *optional, 2Tbsp. chopped red pepper or pimiento |
Thaw seafood, drain and put on paper towels. ( If using shrimp, wash thawed shrimp several times and devein, if necessary.) Cut the seafood in bite sized chunks.Add the remaining ingredients (except the mayonnaise ) and toss thoroughly. Refrigerate 3 or 4 hours.
Just before serving, add mayonnaise to the desired consistancy.
Serve with melba toast.
