Cinnamon Swirls Breads

1 recipe for sweet roll dough ready for shaping
(makes two swirls)
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. granulated sugar

Roll half sweet roll dough recipe into 12"x 8" rectangle.

Spread with 2 tbsp. softened butter. Combine brown sugar and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over butter.

Roll up dough tightly from wide side, sealing edge well. Cut into twelve 1" slices. Place each roll, cut side down, in a well buttered 2" muffin pan. Brush tops with 1 tbsp. melted butter. With a fork, gently pull up centre of each roll to form a peak. Cover with a tea towel and let rise until double in bulk---- takes about 40 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 F . Bake 20 minutes or until browned. Combine remaining cinnamon and sugar. Brush hot rolls with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Makes 12.
