Icings, Quick Caramel Frosting Cakes & Cookies

3/4 cup sweet butter
1 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 to 2 cups icing sugar
1 1/2 cups ground walnuts
Frosts one 13" x 9" cake

Melt butter in saucepan or microwave; add brown sugar; boil over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk; continue stirring until mixture comes back to boil. Remove from heat; cool. Add icing sugar gradually, beating well with each addition until of spreading consistancy. Add ground nuts and spread on cake.
