Icings, The Lazy Gourmet Glaze Cakes & Cookies

1/4 cup butter
4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
2 Tbsp. heavy cream
1 Tbsp. brandy
MICROWAVE METHOD

Melt butter and chocolate together over hot ( not boiling ) water.

Mix cream and brandy well and add to chocolate.

Pour over unfrosted cake and let drip over sides.

Melt butter and chocolate in 4 cup measure on high for

1 1/2 minutes. Stir. Melt further for 1 minute or more until thoroughly melted. Blend thoroughly. Add slightly warmed cream and brandy and mix together thoroughly to make sure all ingredients are well blended.
