Marshmallow Treats | Cakes & Cookies |
1/4 cup butter or margerine
7-10oz regular marshmallows (about 32) or3 cups miniature marshmallows |
5 to 6 cups Kellogg's rice krispies
NOTE You may use 2 cups marshmallow cream instead of marshmallows. Add to melted butter and cook over low heat about 5 min.,stirring constantly |
Melt the butter in a 3 quart saucepan. Add marshmallows and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat.
Add rice krispies and stir until well coated.
Press warm mixture into buttered 13"x9" pan. Cut into squares when cool.
Yields 24 two inch squares.
