Pork, Joan's Barbecued Spareribs Meats

3+ lbs. pork spareribs,sliced in 2" lengths
MARINADE
1 cup consomme
1 cup orange marmalade
4 cloves garlic,minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup tomato ketchup

Combine the ingredients for the marinade and bring them to a boil;simmer 1 minute.

Marinate the ribs in the marinade for 24 hours in the refrigerator.

Lift the spareribs out of the marinade,leaving any sauce clinging to them, in place. Put ribs in a roaster. Heat oven to 300-325F. Roast ribs for 2 1/2 hours.
