6 Pork loin chops, centre cut
(about 2 lbs) 3/4 cup Ketchup 1/3 cup chopped onions 1 clove garlic,minced 1/4 cup vinegar |
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. each dry mustard and dried oregano Canadian Living Nov.1996 |
Trim fat from pork chops. Place in a single layer in a 13" x 9" baking dish. In a bowl, combine ketchup, onions, garlic, vinegar, sugar, Worc. sauce, chili powder, mustard and oregano; pour over chops. Cover and marinate for at least an hour or for up to 8 hours. Cover with foil and bake in a 350¼F oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake, spooning sauce over chops occasionally, for 15 minutes or until tender. Makes 6 servings.
