Crepes au Gratin, Chicken & Ham | Pancakes & Dumplings |
15 cooked crepes
15 thin slices cooked ham 15 -3"x3" slices mozarella or gruyere cheese 1 - 7 1/2 oz. can tomato sauce |
2 cups cooked chopped chicken
pepper 1/2 cup melted butter 2 cups fine fresh bread crumbs 8 tbsp. parmesan cheese |
Put a slice of ham on each crepe and then a slice of cheese. Distribute chicken evenly over the crepes. Dribble a tsp. of tomato sauce over chicken . Pepper.
Fold over and then up. Dip in melted butter and in bread crumbs-cheese mix.
Butter a 6" x 15" casserole and place the crepe "pillows", folded side down, in it. Cook 25 minutes at 350 F , uncovered. Serve.
NOTE: This may be made ahead and baked at the last minute. If cooked ahead, reheat, covered with aluminum foil.
