Spaghetti Pasta & Grains

In a very large pot or dutch oven , 3/4 full of salted water,bring water to a boil. When rapidly boiling, slowly add spaghetti and return to a boil. Partially cover and boil for

8 - 11 minutes. Check for doneness and when ready remove from heat. Add a little cold water to the pot and then drain the spaghetti in a colander. Rinse again and drain. Place drained spaghetti in oiled dutch oven, stir to coat the spaghetti and serve immediately.

NOTE: If you wish to cook the spaghetti ahead,keep it immersed in cold water and just before serving, immerse in hot water, drain when warmed through, and put in warm oiled pan.Toss to distribute oil and serve at once.
