3/8 cup(6 tbsp.) cold unsalted butter, cut into bits
4 ounces cold cream cheese, cut into bits 1 cup all purpose flour |
1/2 tsp. salt

In a food processor blend the butter, cream cheese,flour and salt, pulsing the motor until it just begins to form a ball. Gather the dough into a ball and flatten it slightly. Dust the dough with flour and chill it, wrapped in plastic wrap, for 1 hour. Dough may be made 1 day in advance, wrapped and well chilled.
