10" flan pan with removable sides.
8 TBSP sweet butter 1 1/2 cups flour |
1/3 cup sugar
3 egg yolks 1 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. vanilla. |
Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C)
Work butter into flour/sugar mixture until it resembles small peas, using pastry blender or food processor in on/off position.
Combine and mix well.
Gather into ball .Wrap in plastic and chill 2 hours.Roll out and press into flan pan Lightly butter a piece of aluminum foil and press into shell. Sprinkle with dried beans Bake 15 minutes .Remove foil and beans ,and bake for 7-8 minutes longer until brown.
