Chicken, Joan's Chicken Casserole Poultry

2 cups cooked chicken
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
2 cups diced celery
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can of water
1 can whole mushrooms, drained
2 cans Chow Mein noodles
1 cup cashews
3 tbsp. butter

Preheat fry pan, add butter, cook onions, celery and mushrooms until onions are golden. Set aside 1/4 of the noodles. Add the rest of the ingredients to the fry pan.and mix.

Put in a buttered casserole. Cover and bake 3/4 hour in a 350 F oven. Remove cover and sprinkle reserved noodles over casserole.

Serve with hot rolls and a salad.
