Chicken, Sunday Chicken Bake Poultry

3 to 3 1/2 lb. broiler-fryer cut up
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup melted butter or margerine
1 cup slivered almonds
1 1/2 cups light cream or half and half

Heat oven to 350F. Wash and dry chicken;arrange in a shallow baking dish. Combine seasonings and butter; brush over chicken, coating well. Sprinkle with almonds; pour cream around pieces. Cover dish. Bake 45 minutes;uncover;bake 10 to 15 minutes or until chicken is tender.

Makes 6 servings.
