Chicken, Toby's Baked Chicken Poultry

1 cut up fryer
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
2 oranges,quartered

Heat fry pan to 350F. Add butter and when it is foamy add chicken and brown on both sides. Remove from pan. Blend flour,sugar,salt, ginger and pepper with the drippings. Cook until bubbly. Stir in orange juice and water. Stir until thick. Boil 1 minute. Return chicken to mix with oranges. Cook 45 minutes in the fry pan.

Remove to ovenware dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours(up to 3 days). Cook 45 minutes in oven at 350F before serving.
