Spinach Salad | Salad & Dressings |
1 pkg. fresh spinach
16 med. fresh mushrooms 1/2 cup Feta cheese, cubed* 3 hardboiled eggs, chopped croutons *you may use swiss or cheddar cheese if you wish |
DRESSING:
1/3 cup salad oil 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup ketchup 1/4 cup vinegar 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce |
Combine the dressing ingredients ;put in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer 1 minute and cool.
Wash the spinach and sort over,removing coarse stems. Dry on paper towels and break into bite-size bits. Put in a salad bowl.
Sprinkle the rest of the ingredients on top and serve the dressing separately. Toss at the table just before serving.
Serves 6 to 8.
