(1) THIN CHOCOLATE SAUCE
1 square unsweetened chocolate 1/3 cup boiling water 2 tbsp. butter 1 cup white sugar dash of salt |
1/2 tsp. vanilla
(2) NESTLE'S CHOCOLATE SAUCE 1 cup Nestle's Quick 1/3 cup milk 2 tbsp. butter or margerine |
(1) Melt the chocolate. Add boiling water and butter. When it returns to a boil,add the sugar and salt,stir until smooth and let boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
If making double quantity or reheating, reduce original boiling time.
(2) Mix Nestle's Quick and milk together and bring to a full rolling boil over low heat,stirring constantly. When smooth, remove from heat and stir in the butter. Serve warm or cool. Yields 3/4 cup.
