Italian Tuna Mayonaisse | Sauces & Gravies |
1-7oz. can tuna
7 or 8 anchovy filets 1/4 cup lemon juice |
3/4 cup olive oil
some capers lettuce |
Put drained tuna in a blender together with chopped anchovies and lemon juice and blend. Gradually add olive oil and blend until mayonaisse is produced.
Pour over cold meat on a bed of lettuce and garnish with capers.
NOTE: Good with cold meat or hard boiled wggs.
