Shrimp, Edna's Shrimp Curry on Rice Seafood

1 1/2 lbs. raw shrimp (cooked , shelled and cleaned) or
2 -5 oz. cans shrimp
1 1/2 cups finely chopped peeled apples
2 tbsp. butter or marg.
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. curry powder
1 1/2 cups milk
3 cups cooked rice

Cook the shrimp in rapidly boiling water for 2 minutes, drain, shell and clean. Cook apples in butter for about 5 minutes. Mix flour, salt, curry powder and stir into apples. Stir and cook another minute. Gradually add milk; cook and stir over low heat until thickened. Add shrimp and just heat through. Serve on cooked rice.
