Celery Cauliflower Broccoli Fry | Vegetables & Fruits |
1 pkg. frozen cauliflower
1 pkg. frozen broccoli 4 celery stalks,sliced1/4" thick at an angle 10 water chestnuts 1 can drained mushroom parts 1 finely chopped onion |
1-10oz. can chicken broth
3 tbsp. salad oil 1 tbsp. cornstarch blended with some of the broth 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. ginger |
Combine cauliflower,broccoli and celery in a saucepan with water to cover. Bring to a boil and simmerfor 5 minutes. Drain and set aside. Add oil to a preheated skillet. Brown onions until golden; add drained mushrooms, ginger, water chestnuts, salt and sugar and cook for 1 minute. Add broth and bring to boiling. Add cornstarch mix and stir until thick. Add cooked vegetables; stir and serve immediately.
Serves 6.
