Potato Scallop for Twenty | Vegetables & Fruits |
18 -20 potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 cups finely chopped onion 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 3/4 can whole milk |
freshly ground pepper
salt to taste butter |
Butter a large casserole(5 liters) generously. Layer potato slices,onion,pepper. When all potatoes are used up, pour over mixture of soup and water. Put butter pieces on top. Bake, covered for 1 1/4 hours, uncovered, 3/4 hour at 350 F.
